Matteo's of Hallandale – Classic Italian Dining with Warm Service in Hallandale Beach

Went tonight on our last night of vacation and were absolutely amazed!!! Service (Jonathan was our server) was absolutely outstanding!!! The wine he recommended for me was absolutely what I wanted! Everything we ordered got to us fast and delicious! The restaurant was buzzing with people who all seemed to be having a great time. Will make sure we make it again next time we are down this way!!

MIC DROP...Literally! First Impressions are the best! Everything was perfect! The live music, the food, the vino, the staff, Everything! We came here after a funeral for dinner to cheer us up, and it worked. We all left here in a better mood. Keep up the great work and we'll see you soon! God Bless.

Food was very good, but service was on point. Difficult to find this kind of service in the us, and it’s what you feel like a real warm italian atmosphere, even if the restaurant got the tvs with sports and all that american style. sat at the bar, the guys were very energetic and attentive, had the Vongole, then finished off with a Tiramisu and some espresso with sambuca, another classic. will be coming back often, Thanks to Gianluca and the bar staff for the service.

I had the pleasure of visiting this family-style, classic Italian restaurant. Great location in Hallandale Beach, that has been there for three decades from what I was told. Upon arrival the staff welcomes you enthusiastically, manager Gianluca & owner Vince make you feel like part of the family. Very extensive menu, I had the Matteo's chopped salad, the Matteos's chicken. Huge portions, fresh ingredients and very affordable. Was a very pleasant dinner atmosphere, good looking crowd as well. I highly recommend the place and look forward to return in the near future.

Excellent old-school Italian restaurante! Complete with a smooth Lemoncello to finish off the dinner. I was here for a work conference client dinner, but also good for romantic couples and well-behaved kids. Pasta made old-school and tasted amazing! Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was excellent. Chicken Parmesan looked amazing. Highly recommend if you want a great Italian meal with the ambiance & true Italian restaurante feel!

I celebrated my 50th birthday at this location and let me tell you, I am more than pleased about the outcome of my dinner. I was greeted from the front door with nothing but smiles the entire time. I had a party of 20 people and each of my guests kept saying how amazing the food, staff, and atmosphere was. My servers even sliced my cake and graciously enjoyed a piece at my request! Special thanks to my servers, the owner, and the beautiful singer who sang happy birthday to me! I’ll definitely visit this location anytime I visit Miami (from Atlanta) Thank you all again for top tier service, music, food, and vibes!

Our server Eduardo was so kind and caring! We had a person in our party that has a severe dairy allergy and he made sure to point out what she could and couldn't eat at our table. The food was AMAZING and the best Italian that I have ever had. Can not give enough praises to this restaurant.

The moment we walked in we were greeted like we have been there a hundred times even though it was our first. The service was amazing. Nina made us so comfortable. Their stuffed mushrooms and mussels in wine sauce were some of the best I have had in South Florida. The entrees of Chicken Marsala and Papardelle Cristina were out of this world. If you are looking for the best Italian food in South Florida, come here. I would love to be proven wrong. Enjoy.
